We were off air last week, thanks to a slim release schedule and the Olympics. We return for the first show in two weeks for a bumper edition of the podcast. With the fourth entry of the Bourne Franchise, we took the opportunity to look back the Matt Damon Bourne franchise, with films including the Bourne Identity, The Bourne Supremacy and the Bourne Ultimatum. All leading up the review of Tony Gilroy’s The Bourne Legacy, starring Jeremy Renner, Rachel Weisz and Ed Norton. Quick word to the wise, it’s not good news.
Elsewhere the other big release was Pixar’s Brave. Before that though, Mark talks to director Mark Andrews, producer Katherine Sarafian and art director Tia Kratter about their work on this celebration of all things Scottish. Then there’s the review, in which we celebrate the much-needed return to form for Pixar after the misfire of Cars 2.
